 Gongs
This CD is a recording of 4 large gongs with deep rich voices struck in a continuous pattern. The recording is exactly one hour long and every 15 minutes one of the gongs drops out, slowly bringing the listener into silence. This recording was intended to be used for meditation, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and massage amongst other uses. It was made as a facilitation tool to help draw the mind into accepting silence and for practitioners to be aware of 15 minute intervals without any bells or chimes going off to disturb or alarm the listener. I’m told that it is also good for sleep disorders as well as a relaxation tool for birthing, putting children to sleep, yoga and ambient music for all purposes.
“Poi for Gadje” is an all percussion recording inspired by rhythms from the Middle East to North Africa and more. It was intended for use in tribal style belly dance routines as well as fire dance. Drums used on this recording range from doumbek, tappan, and muzhar, to naal, frame drums, riq and more. There are 13 tracks and the total running time is approximately 48 minutes.
Track One from this CD is currently being used by Ansuya to teach drum solo choreography for belly dance.

Orange Aleister "It May Seem To You Strange" is as trippy and spooky as they come. It’s an elecro-organic recording of free-form and vodun (voodoo) style hand drumming put through a vocoder (an electric effect that enhances the "voice" of an instrument, similar to what you hear on Peter Frampton's "Do You Feel Like I Do"), mixed with some of Aleister Crowley's early wax recordings. These recordings include some of Crowley's Enochian incantations (a magical language said to be discovered and used by "John Dee" of Queen Elizabeth's court). David Macejka plays all hand drums (Bata, Conga, Djembe, Udu, Bongo and Talking drum) on this recording. This recording was produced and mixed by david macejka and rishi records.
This recording is only available  for digital download (MP3). Click on cover to download it from CDBaby.
